The Columbia Willamette Beagle Club (CWBC) strives to create a better world for Beagles -- these happy hounds that bring such joy to their owners. As an AKC affiliated organization we advance the interest of the breed through education, advocacy, responsible breeding guided by breed standards, providing dog showing opportunities, eliminating animal cruelty, and supporting rescue efforts.
We work closely with two rescue organizations

Beagles are wonderful dogs and make excellent family companions. Their medium size (generally under 15" and usually under 30 pounds), their low maintenance cost and their affectionate, yet independent, temperament make them an ideal pet for many families.
